This one is a bit tricky, there are many possibilities but I am going to go with a pack from The Smiths.
Of course it could also be Joy Division or New Order, or it may even be a mixed pack… Speculation gone wild!
Or perhaps it’s a band that @CrossieRS has been trying to get for awhile now…

Something autobiographical
This is my best guess for this one, and I hope I’m right
Many of @NineInchNails’ songs are from the first person so I think it isn’t that farfetched. Of course it could also easily be Sex Pistols with Anarchy In the UK or even Don McLean’s American Pie!
Of course there are just our predictions… What do you think @DanAmrich is hinting at? Let us know!
I hope these speculations are wrong, I mean NIN is to me is one of those bands that is fun to listen to but a snoozefest to play, and the smiths are not exactly known for being guitar virtuoso’s either, I have not been challenged on guitar since the primus pack. I hope ubisoft picks some bands with more challenging guitar lines. there is plenty of beginner/campfire chord songs already.
So since June 23rd? That’s not that long. Also Lynyrd Skynyrd was easy to you? Alrighty
Its been over month since then, That’s too long of a wait for some great dlc, we have only had decent at best since the skynrd pack and i’m looking for all that remains/cliffs of dover difficulty. The lynyrd skynrd pack was alright in my opinion but they botched the song picks by putting in gimme three steps (probably the worst skynyrd song period) and the breeze. They should have put in the needle and the spoon and that smell instead, or made a 5 pack.
My guess for “autobiographical” is The Story of My Life by either Marty Robbins or Michael Holliday. I’m leaning more towards the Michael Holliday version though. Perhaps a leftover song from the 50’s pack?
NIN “Last” sounds fun to play I think
A pretty slim chance unfortunately 🙁 They are currently fighting for the rights of their old songs, hence why they are re-releasing/re-recording them and why we had the 2012 version of ‘Pour some sugar on me’.
Could Xanadu be considered autobiographical? Could it be?
Could Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean be possible for Rocksmith to license? It’s based off of Michael’s encounter with a crazy fan.
Saw Morrissey a couple weeks ago. Smiths would be fun. For autobiographical, I’m thinking Talking Heads here (perhaps due to Smiths).
Either way, it should be interesting.

If it’s the Smiths, I hope they include Ask. I’ve always liked that song. Speculating is pointless though. There isn’t enough information to have a real guess of the DLC.
Nine inch nails??.. Do they even use a guitar??…. Another over rated group… I guess that’s the norm for ubisoft .. Can’t score with the big boys so let’s go for 3rd and 4th tier bands.
Well, that’s just my prediction. It’s probably not Nine Inch Nails, and yes they do use guitars for the record. Robin Finck is in their band. Anyway, what do YOU think the hints mean?

For Manchester it’s Kings of Leon, and for the autobiographical one it might just be Kings of Leon

dont be wrong id like to have some of the smith some nin but kings of leon i really cant stand , beside that s an opinion , it aint a gods secret i hate them , they may be nice guys to talk to but for musicid like to listen a donkey fart for an hour and id find it way more compelling in terms of musicality…..
i hope you ll know this is a joke lol 🙂 ( but in every says there s some verity , for my opinion not the general or everyone opinion , beside i love drum and bass its just that they should create a game with those instrument or just put more song to equal or having a better diversity , i know they can , it might be because its a bit of more works and they might make less money with the choice they make , its better to take artist that one hit and top 40 radio or took artist that their name has been said a hundred thousand of times and the request ( and that means that everyone want them..!! i cant believe they still work like that ) or simply take a flavour of the week band , or flavor of the year take it anyway you want , if that game would have been in 70-80 i wouldnt complain there plenty of guitar that look awesome to play , its a game an arcade played on console or pc……

Could be either Slipknot or Stone Sour since corey taylor who is the vocalist in both bands has recently released an autobiography.
Anything from the Smiths, Joy Division or New Order would be epic. So it’s probably Stone Roses, although I am guessing Stone Roses isn’t something I would hate. I had just never heard of them before.
Thinking “something autobiographical” refers to an artist who writes about their own life experiences means it could be NIN, or pretty much anybody else. Social Distortion is the more obvious choice.
The Smiths would make my year. The riffs from This Charming Man, There is a Light that Never Goes out and Sweet and Tender Hooligan etc etc would keep me locked in a room practicing and playing for a long time., Unfortunately, I think getting some permissions might be nigh impossible (a certain vainglorious frontman comes to mind). So it’s more likely the Stone Roses. I am hoping against all odds its the Smiths, though.
It could be a mixed pack of Manchester bands, because the clue says “some music from Manchester” but I’m leaning towards The Stone Roses. Their songs are perfect for this game.
As far as something autobiographical, does Nirvana’s Serve the Servants count? There are a ton of autobiographical songs out there, that this one is really hard to nail down.

I never realized that NIN songs were in 1st person. I saw someone say Story of My Life by Social Distortion which could make sense for autobiographical.
As for Manchester, I will stick with The Stone Roses.

I made my first requests about a month ago: “Cermony” and “Dreams Never End” by New Order and “Spank Thru” by Nirvana. If we do get New Order, I’ll be totally stoked!
Just googled “Manchester rock bands” and it turns out there’s a crap load of great bands so I’ll be looking forward to see what we get.
