Wow, “Man in the Hat”. That could be so many. Of course the first that comes to mind is the “Cat in the Hat” Mr. Saul Hudson. Going down the line we could say John Lee Hooker (or one his musical children) Carlos Santana–both of whom are always seen capped.
There’s also Sir Billy F. Gibbons
I recall from last year we’re still missing a few essential tracks from both Tom Petty, and Rage Against the Machine (Tom Morello)

The first thing that comes to mind with the man in the hat is jamiroquai. But it might just be because I play mostly bass.

This is like deja vu. I threw a GnR blurb out there, got a “Probably Not” and followed up with “a man can dream.” 🙂 I’m sure it won’t happen as well, but it’s at least nice to see others have the same dream.
Everybody is dreaming the GnR dream my friend. But that band is insane to license. I will say that Welcome to the Jungle just appeared in a shitty CoD trailer. So I will say, to Elliott’s dismay, that it’s real possibility
