For those of you that don’t check the Xbox Live Marketplace at 5 AM every Tuesday we thought we’d let you know that Rocksmith has released it’s first (we assume of many) DLC Gear Packs. This one is focused on Heavy Metal and features the following:
The RSMP-12: A Custom high-gain amp and extended bass response 4×12 cabinet
The Caverb: a “cavernous” reverb pedal
The SicSicSicS: A Solo boost pedal
The Scooped: An active parametric EQ pedal

It’s DLC time for Rocksmith fans and as we mentioned in a previous article we have a three pack of Blink 182 DLC to rock out with!
We have two tracks from Blink’s third studio album Enema of The State “All The Small Things” and “What’s My Age Again” and their most recognizable hit from Dude Ranch “Dammit”
This is one pack that would really benefit from the bass guitar being charted, maybe it can be revisited once we get some low-end love.…

Late last night a diligent Rocksmith fan was scouring the Internet for new information when he came across a new album on iTunes simply entitled “A Very Rocksmith Christmas”
The album is now free, and features arrangements of three classic yuletide songs including:
