Hello Rocksmith fans!
Welcome to another variety filled Rocksmith DLC Round-Up!
Before we get to May, let’s take a look at how you voted for April, 2016.
Looks like Disturbed II was the favourite last month in the #BattleOfMetal, followed by the relatively unknown but super awesome, @Crobot, the 80s mix of two proper guitar workouts (and DEVO), and finally Zakk Wylde’s fun with pinch harmonics finishing last with 15% of the votes.
This month definitely proved that @UbisoftStudioSF is all about Variety! We started off with the political punky return of one of Rocksmith’s most represented artists in the catalogue, Rise Against! Next we got one of the most mixed genre packs, probably ever with Variety Pack I featuring, Arch Enemy, Of Monsters and Men, PoT-USA, and Nazareth! Queensrÿche finally got the pack they deserved bringing their masterful prog songwriting to the masses, Chevelle also decided to show up and delivered the lowest supported tuning yet, and finally we ended the month with a 90s Mix Pack featuring Everclear, Filter, and some much needed third wave ska from Reel Big Fish! Wow, what a month!
Was this month for bassists? Let’s take a look at some of our picks.
Nothing too hard here, but we recommend bassists add Rise Against to their library (if they don’t mind Eb Standard that is)
This is a great fast paced bass line, of course it’s a metal bass line so it’s a bit repetitive but it still is enjoyable to play with a bit of movement
This is probably the closest you’ll get to Paul McCartney bass line…
Hats off to the BASS
There’s nothing too difficult on bass for Queensrÿche, but I really enjoyed this song so have at you.
This one is fun as heck, hope your fingers are ready for the outro, stay on time!

Funny considering how I complained about the mixed artist packs but I actually really enjoyed them this month.
Not my favorite month, but that’s just me after an awesome April of dlc. Although I’d have to say Queensryche but if Reel Big Fish had a full pack of 3-5 that would easily take the spot, sorry one’s just not enough 😐
