Hello Rocksmith fans!

Welcome to the September DLC Round-Up!

Before we get to September, let’s take a look at who you voted for as Best DLC of August 2019!

It’s no surprise that Gary Moore leads the month by such a large margin, a well deserved win! Following behind is the Women Who Rock II pack featuring returnees Veruca Salt, and newcomers Orianthi and The Go-Go’s. Not far behind is the novelty comedic rock of Bloodhound Gang, and although the reception for the WWE themes was quite good across the board, someone simply has to come last.

September was a month of surprises!

We started off with the return of the exercises suite, with the first installment of Volume 2 (Easy Exercises). Next up we welcomed Icelandic blues rock band Kaleo, followed by a pack featuring artists who made their name via YouTube such as The DoooAudrey123talks, and Ten Second Songs (Set The Charge). The month was closed out by a single song, but it was by DragonForce, so it had the notes of three songs combined!

Let’s see what bassists were workin’ with in September!

Felt like this was the most interesting bass chart for the pack

Fantastic bass part

Ok, this was actually really fun though

Not as crazy as Through The Fire and Flames but it still has some tricky sections

Guitarists had some great material to learn as well

The song is No Good, but it’s great for Rocksmith

Worth grabbing your capo

A rare opportunity where you can see the man himself play the song!

An emotional performance for sure

It’s DragonForce…

Kind of a mixed bag of tuning this week!

Arrangement E Standard Drop D Eb Standard D Standard Drop C Capo Required
Lead 3 1 1 X X 1
Rhythm 3 1 X X 1 2
Bass 4 X 1 1 1 X
Alt. Lead 1 X X X X X

E Standard still wins though!

Which brings us to the question on everyone’s mind…

See you soon!

    1. From GvF to some tracks in the metal pack (no CoB for me), I didn’t buy anything. This is going to be the cheapest year ever for me with Rocksmith. I do have my fingers crossed for next Tuesday though. Really hoping for an awesome Halloween pack, single artist or mix pack. Although why the wouldn’t do it at least a week or 2 before I don’t know. Isn’t the Christmas pack at least a month before when they do it?

      1. I think your treat is going to be trick.

We know that the advanced exercises are coming, probably next month (11/19?)
