Phase Three: Shane Gann returns to Ubisoft SF

Hello Rocksmith fans,

One of the biggest impacts of the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic is it’s decimation of the live music/event industry. So it probably comes as no surprise that @HailTheShane who left to do @HailTheSun and @suffererband full time (August 2018) tweeted yesterday that he is returning to @Ubisoft.

Now I know, a few of you folks have remained skeptical that there’s another Rocksmith on the way, but with Shane returning to Ubisoft SF (as he was a former notetracker), with DLC no longer being produced for Rocksmith 2014, and him favouriting a tweet regarding Rocksmith, that seems to be some pretty solid confirmation that the Future of Music Learning is definitely going to be a successor to Rocksmith 2014 Remastered.

For those that aren’t familiar with Hail The Sun they have two songs available in Rocksmith Remastered.

Bonus Song

DLC Single via 2010 Mix Pack

Are you happy to see Shane return to Ubisoft, are you convinced that the next title from the Rocksmith team, will indeed be a ROCKSMITH title? Let us know!

Glad to have him back on board… his re-hire def keeps in line with the new game rumor. I hope HTS has some timeline to return next year or something and this is just to keep busy/income.

That’s some good news always liked Burn Nice and Slow. Now that live music is dead just pay Slash, Tom Morello, Zakk Wylde, Billy Corgan, Jerry Cantrell to add tutorials on now to play their songs in the new rocksmith. That is one thing that the game lacked like a human connection to playing using great players. I think bandfuse tried that with Slash, Five Finger Death Punch and a couple of others
