Hello Rocksmth fans!

Welcome to the December DLC Round-Up!

Before we get to December, let’s take a look at who you voted for as Best DLC of November 2018!

There’s definitely a clear winner here, the crown goes to Queen II, followed by Variety Pack XIX (Bob Marley, Big Country, The Meters, and White Zombie), and you gave the 3rd place nod to Jimmy Eat World, while the seasonal Christmas Classics still intrigued 32 of you…

December was all about big name artists!

We kicked it off with the return of @AliceCooper, then @FFDP finally joined the Rocksmith Library, and finally after no content since 2013, @RollingStones came back strong with a FOUR pack of some of their biggest songs!

Let’s see what bassists had to enjoy in December!

What a bass line! Gets real wild at the end

That chorus riff!

The bass really shines on FFDP’s take on the 1974 hit

Are you ready for a marathon?

This song is fantastic on everything

Jumpin’ Jack Flash is great also, but this one is a bit more varied

Can’t let bassists have all the fun…

Nice Riff

a bit harder than Guitar Hero II me thinks

Glorious E Standard

If only we all had 24 fret guitars…

@Audrey123Talks can play it lefty, how about you?

You really owe it to yourself to tune for Keith Richard’s arrangements

pfft who needs the E string anyway

Pianosmith but that super dirty lead tone is fantastic

Get read for some B Standard and Open tunings this month!

Arrangement E Standard Drop D B Standard Open G Open E Open D
Lead 7 X 2 1 X X
Rhythm 5 X 3 1 1 X
Bass 9 1 X X X X
Alt. Lead X X 1 X X 1
Alt. Rhythm X X X X X 1

E Standard dominates the last month of 2018!

Which brings us to the question on everyone’s mind…

See you next time when we begin to decide who will win BEST Rocksmith DLC of 2018 in the Rocksmith DLC Battle 2018!

  1. Well for November jimmy eat world and Queen were easily my least favorite packs, but December I bought the FFDP & tRS’s pack. I cherry picked for AC. I think they must be planning another AC pack since there was no 18. December was pretty good and we got a nice follow up with more Chuck Berry. I hope we see more of him soon.
Btw a new Cage the Elephant track from their upcoming new album. Listened to it a few times this morning pretty good. Check it out. I already requested it.
    I’m ready to let go

  2. November was tough–having to chose between Marley, more funk, and finally getting Chuck Berry. I like Queen too so if the Variety pack came in second, that’s fine. (Now, since Queen is out again in Jan ’19, does this mean Chuck will get defeated in the voting twice?)

Still on the same theme, having the Stones and a major influence for Keef, Chuck Berry, in back to back months was a nice touch by Ubisoft. They made the 3 and 1.
