Hello Rocksmith fans!
Welcome to the July DLC Round-Up!
Before we get to June, let’s take a look at who you voted for as Best DLC of June 2019!
You loved the return of Rockin’ Covers II so much you voted them over the return of Trivium! On the flip side you were so disinterested in Tegan and Sara you voted Greg Studley’s Easy Exercises ahead of them, harsh!
July was an interesting month for @Rocksmithgame!
We started off with Intermediate Exercises from Greg Studley and ended the month with the Advanced Exercises set. In between we got the long awaited pack from The Pretty Reckless, an Indie Rock pack featuring X Ambassadors, Snow Patrol, and the cover of Bittersweet Symphony. Finally, the very popular (outside of the US) Manic Street Preachers made their Rocksmith debut.
Let’s see what bassists had to enjoy in July!
Not only is the bass line very fun to play, the tone is absolutely fantastic
I might be biased because I think everything about this song is great for Rocksmith…
Just a fun one!
What about those guitarists? ?
Yup, this is the song you want
Bet you weren’t expecting that solo!
Enjoy!
What a great song!
A very satisfying chord progression
A mostly E Standard month with deviation thanks to The Pretty Reckless!
Arrangement | E Standard | Eb Drop Db | Eb Standard | Open Eb |
Lead | 6 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
Rhythm | 6 | 1 | 2 | X |
Bass | 6 | 1 | 2 | X |
Alt. Lead | 4 | X | X | X |
Alt. Rhythm | 1 | X | X | X |
E Standard continues it’s domination
Which brings us to the question on everyone’s mind…
- Intermediate Exercises, Vol. 1
- The Pretty Reckless
- Indie Rock Song Pack
- Manic Street Preachers
- Advanced Exercises, Vol. 1
See you soon!
The Manic Street Preachers was the only worthwhile pack for me.
Delighted we have had the Manics after years of me requesting them. True, the song choices were pretty obvious but would much off The Holy Bible have sold well outside the UK? Here’s hoping for a second song pack in the near future!
