Hello Rocksmith fans!
Hope everyone is enjoying last month’s drop and has bought their new 88 key MIDI capable piano.
Today an YouTube Short (and Facebook post) revealed some new artists being planned for what we assume is the next few content drops for Rocksmith+

Artists from the previous Rocksmith 2014 library include:
- Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers
- Deftones
- Green Day (Pack I, II, III, IV)
- Coldplay (plus Singles)
- Joy Division
- Roxette
- The White Stripes (Which came to RS+)
- Jack White (The single on RS2014 On Disc that’s on RS+ now)
New comers include:
- Fort Minor (Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park)
- Meshuggah
- Lupe Fiasco
- Ace Frehley (Guitarist from KISS)
Expectations
Since there are previous artists, it stands to reason they most likely relicensed previous content for RS+ using that information we can sort of guess what we may end up seeing in the update
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers
One would expect American Girl (We have the cover in RS+ already) and they’re showing the album artwork in the preview
If we end up with the full pack can we also get Good Enough from the Rocksmith (2011) import
Deftones
With only one pack in 2014 it could be possible it’s been relicensed for RS+ but the preview is showing the album art from their self-titled 2003 album, so our guess are probably more popular songs from it like Minerva and Bloody Cape.
Green Day
Given the first pack is being delisted (November 17th, 2023) I’m going to make a bold call and say at the very least the X-Kid , Pack I, and the American Idiot songs are going to be included. I will be shocked if they just got everything (18 songs).
The video preview showed both Dookie and American Idiot.
Coldplay
Given that we only have Clocks currently and Piano is sort of a big deal, I’m going to say we get everything. The video preview shows album art from Ghost Stories, Parachutes, Viva La Vida, X&Y. and Mylo Xyloto so at the very least except Paradise, Shiver, Yellow, Viva La Vida, Fix You, A Sky Full of Stars, and maybe even Violet Hill.
